Ovient English Launches Ovient English Club, a Flexible and Affordable Learning Opportunity for Professionals Who Speak English as a Second Language

Sunnyvale, California, April 16, 2009 — Ovient English (http://www.ovient.com) today announced the opening of registration for Ovient English Club, a new, all-you-can learn professional English program. For just $200 a month (or $100 for participants who register by April 26), professionals who speak English as a second language can take up to 24 hours of instruction and polish their American accent, grammar, public speaking, and other skills. Classes on rotating topics are offered daily, Monday – Thursday from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Classes start May 4.

As government funding is cut and low-cost options for English training disappear, learners are increasingly forced to look elsewhere for ESL support. “Ovient English Club is our response to clients who are seeking a flexible and low-cost option for improving English communication skills,” says Marc Musteric, Ovient Co-Founder and President. “For one low monthly price, club members can come to as many classes as they like.” The price is competitive with many publicly-funded programs.

Ovient has seen an increased need for English training since the beginning of the economic crisis as more learners seek to retain their current jobs or look to improve their skills as part of a job search. “No one wants to lose their job or miss out on a career opportunity because of difficulties with the English language, and we have seen an increasing number of clients visiting us following difficult performance reviews. Many are asking for resume help or interview coaching.”

Ovient English offers one of the few options in Silicon Valley for professionals who need to improve their English communication skills. Unlike traditional ESL (English as a Second Language) programs which tend to focus on academic English or the needs of recent immigrants, Ovient focuses on the needs of professionals in the workplace, helping highly-educated and experienced personnel overcome the last remaining barriers to fluent communication. Ovient English Club is the newest addition to the Ovient suite of training options which also includes customized one-to-one coaching programs, public classes and seminars, Online learning, and corporate training.

Ovient English Club classes start May 4 and will be offered exclusively at Ovient’s Sunnyvale location. Interested participants can register by calling 408-524-1649 or on the Ovient Website at http://www.ovient.com/club.html.
