Ovient English provides English training to professionals. Founded in 2006 by Marc and Blythe Musteric, a husband-and-wife team, Ovient has inspired confidence in professionals from around the world.


Our experienced coaches have worked with clients from over 20 countries representing some of Silicon Valley’s top companies and organizations in positions including CEO, Manager, Engineer, Salesperson, Doctor, Dentist, Accountant, Real Estate Agent, and even Priest.

We understand the needs of professionals.

Our clients are highly-educated and experienced professionals, and our programs are designed for them. We are careful to respect the needs of our clients, help boost their confidence, and coach them to overcome the last remaining hurdles to confident communication in English. We have also worked with native speakers, so we understand the unique needs of advanced learners.


We emphasize instructor expertise.

Every individual learner is different. It takes a skilled, and experienced instructor to determine and address individual needs. Our instructors are required to have a Master of Arts degree in TESOL.


We believe in relevant content.

We have a dynamic "living" curriculum database that we use to develop custom training materials for each individual learner, allowing us to focus on the needs specific to the client. We also encourage our clients to bring in relevant materials from their work. Several of our clients are polishing presentations, professional email communications, and reports that they intend to deliver to their managers and customers.


We believe in practical learning.

All learning is objective-based and goal-oriented. Better writing skills should result in more efficient use of time. Better presentation skills should lead to more sales. Better pronunciation and polite communication skills should result in happier customers. Greater confidence in communication should result in greater career opportunities. Again and again we hear from managers and HR directors who have tried to implement English training or accent reduction programs in the past, but have been frustrated by inexperienced trainers or programs that embarrass the participants.
