  • Q: Is this program for me?
  • A: We have worked with people from over 24 different countries. Some of our clients are still mastering basic English skills, but most of our clients have been working in the United States for at least a year, speak English fairly well, and are meeting with us to improve their professional English communication skills. Our program is based on your specific needs, so we can help you regardless of your level or ability.

  • Q: What is your cancellation policy?
  • A: For the PROFESSIONAL program, we have a flexible cancellation policy: As long as you contact us at least 24 hours in advance, you can reschedule your session to another day. You will have 3 months to complete your sessions, including any rescheduled sessions. We encourage you to try very hard not to cancel your sessions. We structure our programs to make learning efficient and frequent cancellations can really hurt your progress.

  • Q: Can I take just one or two lessons?
  • A: We want you to be successful in your learning, and learning takes time. While you can learn several important concepts in just one or two hours, this does not give you enough time to master the difficult skills you need to communicate more professionally. We strongly encourage you to complete the entire 12 hour PROFESSIONAL program.

    However, if you urgently need just one or two sessions because of a work deadline or to prepare for an upcoming presentation or interview, you can always purchase one or two hours at our standard rate of $100/hour.

  • Q: What if I want to continue the PROFESSIONAL program after I have completed the 12 hours?
  • A: After you complete your initial program, you can choose to sign up for another 12-hour program and focus on different skills. You can also talk with your coach about upcoming classes or other study options that may be helpful to you.

  • Q: How are your instructors trained?
  • A: We require all of our instructors to have at least a Master of Arts degree in TESOL, languages, education, or a related field. We feel that choosing a communication coach is like choosing a doctor--you need to learn from someone with formal training who understands how to help you improve. When our highly-educated instructors join our coaching staff, we continue to provide extensive training and guidance. Our coaches are energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly.

  • Q: Can I try your services before I sign up?
  • A: Yes. Click here to schedule a free trial session. During your free trial session, your coach will give you several exercises to complete and will ask you several questions to help us learn about you, your skill level, and your learning style. You will also have a chance to ask us questions about our programs. You will get to try some of Ovient's innovative teaching methods. There is NO OBLIGATION to sign up for a program. The free trial session is a great chance for us to get to know you and for you to get to know Ovient and to learn a few new skills. We look forward to meeting you!

  • A: We work very hard to keep you with the same instructor for all of your coaching sessions. Occasionally, due to instructor illness or other circumstances, we may need to change your instructor. We will let you know if this becomes necessary.

  • A: We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for our private coaching programs. We work very hard to make sure our clients are satisfied and offer a flexible cancellation policy. Marc, the co-founder and company president, makes his cell phone number available to all clients. If you ever have a concern regarding your training, just let us know. We want you to be happy and enjoy learning from us.
