Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Ovient, Inc. (Inside Plug and Play) 440 N. Wolfe Rd., Sunnyvale, CA 94085
If you are like most people, you write emails several times a day. While it seems simple, email mistakes can create big problems for you, your coworkers, and your customers. Are you using email correctly and effectively?
This 2-hour evening seminar will address common email challenges. We will discuss email etiquette, tone and style. Learn to choose the appropriate style and tone for the situation, learn to format your emails so that they are easy to read, and learn to create an organizational structure that will ensure a response from the reader.
In this seminar, you will analyze example emails on a variety of topics, practice writing and correcting emails, and develop a personal email writing strategy that you can immediately use the next day at work. You will also learn Ovient’s “Ten Tips for Tone” and learn a formula for writing attractive subject lines.
If you have ever struggled to write an effective email, this seminar is for you.
Bring in your questions! We will dedicate a portion of the seminar to answering your specific and individual questions. The seminar will be taught by two instructors, so one instructor will always be available to address your individual questions.
